RAIN IOT Researchers Excel at the 2023 Symposium on Internet of Things (SIoT)
We’re thrilled to announce the active participation of our researchers at the 2023 Symposium on Internet of Things (SIoT). Held in São Paulo, Brazil, from October 25th to 27th, this symposium brought together leading minds in the field of IoT, fostering knowledge exchange and innovation.
Our researchers showcased their groundbreaking work through insightful presentations and engaging discussions, contributing to the ongoing dialogue shaping the future of IoT technology. Their presence not only highlighted the significance of the RAIN IOT project but also underscored our commitment to pushing the boundaries of IoT research and development.
Our researcher Mateus de L. Filomeno, along with Gustavo M. Campos, Ândrei Camponogara, Pedro H. Sartorello, and Moisés V. Ribeiro, was awarded by the 2023 SIoT. His paper “Artificial Noise for In-Home PLC Networks Under the Presence of PLC and Wireless Eavesdroppers” was honored with the Second-Best Paper Award, recognizing the exceptional quality and significance of our research in the field.
We were also honored to have Professor Andrea M. Tonello from the University of Klagenfurt, Austria, join us at the event. Prof. Dr. Tonello delivered an insightful lecture titled “Generative and Discriminative AI Models for Next Generation Networked Cyber-Physical Systems”. His expertise added immense value to the event, enriching the knowledge exchange and fostering innovative discussions.
